Currently in first place, although my lead is slimming, got killed with my goaltending early on, but it’s stabilized a bit, but I don’t think it’s good enough to win at all, which is my goal (unless a Vanicek somehow has a miraculous transformation.)

Rival team is looking to sell, although he’s stingy about pricing — Ullmark available, likely would cost a 1st plus (maybe a 2nd or 3rd) or a young guy like Sergachev or Werenski.

problem is I don’t like Ullmark’s numbers of late — is Swayman stealing his job?

Then, can I carry four goalies? would be tough to just dump Luuk or Vanicek, as much as the latter has stunk…

ps, i can probably get Kotchetkov for similar price, if not a bit cheaper …but while he may be good for future, not sure he’s an upgrade this year..

With your Goalie categories being W/SV%/GAA, top end goalies will dominate this league with those stats. You really cannot rely on volume, since there is not a saves category.

How many Goalie starts per day? If only one per day, they you really only need two solid goalies. Obviously, Skinner this year is a keeper and is doing well in your setup.

Vanacek is struggling, as well as Daws. That is a timeshare with a horrible return in your categories the past month. UPL has been hot lately. Ullmark is in a fairly even split with Swayman, but will provide good returns on a strong BOS team. Is he worth the price? That is debatable depending on goalie starts per day.

Without volume stats (our league only counts W, S%, GAA, SHO) essentially no volume cats.
I’m looking to make my 4 weekly starts and rely on my skaters to win the week.

I’m looking for goalies who have few Really Bad Starts to cover my weekly minimum starts.
That said since Edmonton has turned it around Skinner is a solid start for you.
If the opportunity to add Ullmark is there, I would try and add him.
Without knowing how many weekly starts, Skinner, Ullmark may not be enough.
Any interesting goalies on teams looking likely to miss your playoffs ?

This is a weekly h2h and you must start 2 goalies, and once you pick them you can’t change for the week (no daily changes). Only one minimum G game start per week - as long as you have that, your goalie cats count for the week and there is no max games.

There is no daily starts concept.

the Ullmark owner is notoriously unreasonable, so i went with 2 2nds for Kotchetkov and 2 6ths.
obviously, this is more of a play for the future but there’s a chance he could have a hot run down the stretch.
Price for Ullmark or Markstrom (1st plus, plus) didn’t seem worth it, considering their risk of being supplanted.
