I can't wait for a reporter to question Calgary about them saying Dube is on leave due to mental health if he's involved with this.

It's not right at all if they tried to sugar coat his absence with mental health IF he's away because of the WJC stuff.

Kylington for that team just went 19months working on his mental health to come back to play, if Dube is using it as a crutch...oh boy.

Spot on. I didn't pay any attention to the details of the Dube announcement from the team, but IF he's implicated in any of this and they tried to deflect with "mental health", that is very shady.

There's nothing wrong with the RCMP not making a public statement until Feb. 5th.
The investigation and charges don't happen in the press. I don't think the general public takes into account everything the RCMP does in an investigation.
They shouldn't speak to the media to appease the media. They should speak after interviews/interrogations are done, charges are written and signed and all ducks are in a row.
It will be up to a judge to ensure that justice and appropriate sentences are handed out. So, the RCMP needs to make sure they get it right.

I think back to Mike Richards having his contract terminated by the Kings.

There should be no way in hell any of these players get to keep their contracts and continue to get paid once facts are revealed and things become black and white.

There better be 5 confessions given by Feb. 5th.

If the NHL wants to change the culture then they cannot blink in the face of this.

The NHL is also throwing their support behind the WPHL. You cannot sweep this under the rug and continue that support in the same breath.

Bettman and the old mans club needs to get in front of this and ensure they're on the right side of history moving forward.

Ahh... my bad.. it's rare for a city of London's size to have their own police force.

It more than likely won't, but it should.

If they want to grow the game and grow the PWHL - then it needs to. If I'm in the PWHL, morally, I'm not sure I want NHL support.

1. Guilty Pleas
2. Contract terminations
3. Lifetime bans from NHL

Actually, we're here because they didn't come forward and admit guilt a year ago... so, no. Not really. There's video, text messages, eye witness statements.
Only thing missing is names.

This isn't a matter of If, it's a matter of who and when.
