Is Jones worth adding to carry a 4th goalie when I only start 2?

I would only have to drop Mintyukov. I only start 3 D and own Carlson, Nurse, Ekblad and Ekholm

If we see your roster and full stats for players we can give you some better advice, but I don't think Jones plays more than 1 game this week. They have the B2B Monday/Tuesday, and that's it for opportunity I think. The other 2 games are home games, so no travel. Unless Sammy gets hurt, I don't think Jones gets more than today or tmo's game. For the rest of December (10 games), he'll get maybe like 3 starts. They might even dabble with a Hildeby start while Woll is out. So I would be going after Wolf as his opportunity is much clearer than Jones.

As for Is Mintyukov worth a drop in a start 3D with your other D...It would be best if we saw the stats you have for players, but I don't think owning 5 D in a 3D league is wise. But again, we need more info.

I don't think Jones would be worth adding aside from a spot start but in those settings there could be better options than rostering 5 D when you only start 3. I'd look at the best available forwards.

You are right, D seem to just be streamers unless you own like on of the top 5 guys.

ill be surprise if Jones plays more then 10 more games in NHL all together before his career is over...Wolf is young and just starting and based on what we seen so far he maybe pretty good for a while.

Jones is playing for his NHL career at this point, and if he plays well enough, he might get claimed on waivers or something, but I figure Wolf should get more starts.

I am pretty sure that Samsonov will get the bulk of the starts in Toronto. This is the time for Calgary to see what Wolf is all about in the NHL so I think he plays a lot while Markstrom is out. Go with Wolf.
