I'm in a retooling year as I threw a bunch of darts at prospects (league in sig).

Looking to move Talbot, Kopitar, Theodore, Chychrun for higher upside players and/or picks.

I've been offered Aho & Dostal/Hofer for Talbot and Kopitar.
Also on the table is Byfield & Kochetkov for Kopitar & Talbot.

Would you do either? Which would you prefer?

Yes, as to Sebastian Aho (CAR) and Dostal/Hofer for Talbot and Kopitar. This is an instant accept for me. Talbot's performance this year can't be trusted to extend over the years and in 12 team, you're not going to keep him. Kopitar is great, but Aho isn't that dissimilar and is 10 years younger.

That being said, I think I like the 2nd offer even better. The upside is higher.

I think both seem like net positives for you, the second one more so than the first though if you're only looking to do one

I'd take both and be thankful. Getting value for productive vets over 30 doesn't return quality young players in the leagues I'm in.

Byfield deal, all day, every day! There’s a lot more left in the tank for Byfield than what Aho is gonna give you. He’s only getting started this year

yeah i like Byfield side too...i think in year or at most 2 you will need to pay way way more to aquire him.

Also, dont move Chychrun...bad idea..
