What do people think about the trade with Bogosian and the imminent return of Spurgeon? (likely next week)

As a Gus owner in one league I've been waiting to see what the team is like with Spurgeon back in the fold before abandoning him entirely.

Or is Minnesota the same defensively stout team from last year but Gus is just plain rotten at the moment?

The thing is it was always too early to tell. The same applies to Skinner, Schmid and Levi. Everyone on this form states that goalies are voodoo but then they get super excited and state with conviction that goalie X (insert any of the for mentioned names) are definitively the starters and better than the incumbent based on small sample sizes.

I picked Vancek over Gustavsson this offseason for this reason. Now Vancek hasn't lit the world on fire but he's looking like at least the starter on his team. Time will tell with Gus we need a larger sample size and getting back D will help.

Goalies - I wish I understood what was going to happen better.
year over year they can be so different.

I do think that bringing In Bogosian and Spurgeon coming back is going to help. So I don't think you want to make a rash decision just yet.
I would keep him and hopefully he gets it rolling.
