Seriously what is wrong with this dude. I drafted him expecting a solid 65 pts on the wing of Matthews, but he is an absolute turd so far.

Time to cut bait? I dint like rush decisions but I'm bottom of the league so far thanks to Bertuzzi, Robertson, Debrusk, Zacha, Chabot, Boldy, Duchene, and Thompson.


It takes every ounce of patience I have to not make stupid moves right now but its really difficult when 80% of the team is off to a garbage start.

He has been worst than his stats which tells you a lot. He was never fast but he looks much slower than average and is lost out there.

Having said that be patient as almost half of the team is new and it will take some time to gel.

Also never draft players expecting carrier high on new team… you hoped for 65 points and he crossed 50 only once… never good recipe

It's the coach. If you couldn't get the most talented team in the playoffs past the 2nd round and only winning 1 home game in the process, you're the problem not the GM that gave you that team. But yes, it is still early.

He needs time to gel. He does not look like he is playing in a system out there sometimes, he looks like he's sort of doing his own thing. That will improve over time, I would think.

Also he is playing through something FWIW.

Your best bet unfortunately is to hold. If you still want to trade him wait until he gets hot. But by then you may want to just enjoy the production.

urggghhh and to think I had him and Boeser to choose from as my last keeper this past summer... coin toss fell on Bertuzzi and the rest is history FML
