Campbell starter?
Has Campbell done enough to earn the starting job in Edmonton? He went 3-0 with a 0.99 GAA and a .971 S%. According to Sportsnet.ca, it's all but been decided. I just swapped Vejmelka, who I was likely not holding on to, for him.

I think itll be back and forth. Skinner got them pretty far last year. Campbell got the bag though. They will use him as much as his play dictates. He looks like a top 10 goalie some nights and looks like he's playing dodgeball other nights. Reports out of camp say he looks bigger in the net. Put him in when he's on one of his month long runs.

Could be for the time being. Either way Skinner will be waiting for his opportunity to take over yet again if Soupy fails.

I'm anticipating he retakes the starter job and it's a 65/35 split.
He was awful last year and still went 21-9-4.

Campbell sucked last year and still went 21-9-4 and has looked solid/elite preseason. If you go to the oilers forums, 99% of their fanbase thinks Soupy is the guy to start first game and wash away some of last season's stink

As my, "technically", 3rd goalie it looks like a good grab, at least for now. The Skinner owner was either sleeping or over-valuing him based on early reports and draft cheats. But even a 50/50 split makes Campbell a decent grab.
