Best Goalie on FA
I play in a shallow 6 team league and grabbed Shmid as my 4th goalie. Mostly just in a dumb move to grind the guy who beat me in bidding on Vanechek. We roll 4 goalies. I need Wins. I need Saves. I like Shutout points too. We lose points for loses and goals allowed so you have to be careful.
My top three goalies are Saros, Gustafson and F Anderson.
Should I hold Shmid and hope he steals the starting job?
Should I handcuff with Fleury - safest bet with 15 B2B and good rotation.
Other options include:
Elvis, Grubaur, Campbell and Markstrom.
Gibson and Hart and Binnington and Veljmaka too. But with points lost for GA and losses they are gambles.
My thinking is that I replace Shmid with Fleury now and wait for Anderson to get injured and then grab whoever the best option out of the above at that point?

I agree with LawMan, Markstrom gives you the best shot to get the Wins. He’s a clear cut #1 goalie so him for me too.

I like Markstrom, but I might just ride Schmid and cherry pick wins from the odd games he does start, and maybe he does steal the net for some stretches.
