Default Good goalies to target using zero goalie strategy.

This will be my 2nd season using this strategy, and while, on paper I did well last season, it ended up being a struggle. Both Jarry and Talbot were injured and if not for a lucky grab off the WW with Gus and a deadline trade for Georgiev, there's no way I win last year. Anyone have some late draft goalie bargains I should target? We have 4 goalie cats and I've always been about splitting them and winning with offense & banger cats. 9 to 4 cat split.

Grubauer and Markstrom, both have very few b2bs, should bounce back and crush their ADPs.

Merzlikins - revamped CBJ D gives him a good shot at getting back to good numbers.

Husso - improving team and D, and he’s a good goalie

Schmid - late pick option as he could well steal the starter’s crease

BTW 9 to 4 cat split HUGELY undervalues goalies, so Zero G is 100% the way to go.

I've been doing zero goalie strategy for the most part and I find that tandems are paramount. This year, I found that the Grubauer/Daccord, Korpisalo/Forsberg, and Copley/Talbot tandems were the most affordable. If your strategy is willing to focus only on volume stats (wins/saves), then you could add Merzlikins/Tarasov, Husso/Reimer, Vejmelka/Ingram, and Montembeault/Allen. Again, these are all tandems that I've found to come cheaper.

With a 4 start minimum, you have to carry three goalies, so finding another 30-40 start back-up would be important. Guys like: Schmid, Raanta, Varlamov, DeSmith, etc.

Campbell. Edmonton isn’t going anywhere, and Stuart Skinner isn’t guaranteed to be the season-long starter.

12-team, H2H. Keep 12, but drop 2 of top four skaters, and also 2 of next six, then five more (from end-of-year rankings). One GK max.

Part of the Zero G strategy is that you WILL feel uncomfortable with your goalies going into the season, but it also primes you to be the first to jump at those random outliers. I'm into later backup options on good teams like Woll, Schmid and Thompson. I'm big on Levi too, but he is going HIGH.

So far I have "proven" guys like Markstrom and Demko targeted as late round options that will start a ton. Jarry (IR risk) is also an option for starts, Levi, Schmid and Husso are high on my "steals" list. I need to do better with seeing the runs coming, especially drafting last in each round. I will start to drop all your suggestions in a priority list. Thanks
