    Default Late homerun picks

Hey all, I’ve got 6 picks from 80-100 and I’m looking for some homerun swings that just may fall to that range. Only 2023 draftees available. Cats in sig.
    Thanks all!

What are the rules around your farm system? If there's enough room I'd be plenty tempted to swing on a bunch of goalies because if one hits that's likely better than any skater you'd be drafting at that stage.

There's so few home run swings in that range it's hard to guess at them. Even if you make contact, you're probably talking 4-5 years out and most fantasy GMs lose faith and interest in them long before they pan out and drop them for better options. Lots of people like certain players today in that range but truth be told, so few of them ever pan out.

A lot of Dmen tend to fall in fantasy drafts so you might find a hidden gem there. Someone like Matthew Mania, Cameron Allen or Aram Minnetian could still be floating around. They seem to have that "late round steal" tag when you look for those types of tags.

Based on 80-100 - we're talking (mostly) guys taken in the mid-3rd round or later?

If so, here are a few of my favourite darts taken after pick 80 this year:
84 - C.Price (D) - really solid Dman with good chance of making the show especially in the SEA system
94 - J.Perron (RW) - Am guessing he's likely already gone as he was a pretty hyped guy pre-draft
95 - D.Barkey (C) - A personal fave of mine. Think we'll see him really shine in London this year
98 - A.Strathmann (D) - Really like the player but being drafted by CBJ is no bueno - too many higher end prospect D in his way - hope for a trade
110 - B.Konyushkov (D) - HUGE fan of this kid - but he's a massive long shot. Great dart at this stage though imo.
115 - J.Shaugabay (RW) - Long runway before he'll get a chance... but great skills (small though - likely needs to grow/put on weight)
120 - A.Ciernik (LW) - Personally not a huge fan but lots of scouts (who know much more than me) were high on him pre-draft
    123 - L.Cagnoni (D) - Small for a D - but solid puck-moving skills
125 - A.Minnetian (D) - Slow burn but if he puts it together in college he's got a great package of skills

    After Round 5:
    R.Dionicio, C.Allen, M.Mania, T.Mukhanov (insane skill but tiny), Y.Yegorov (G), E.Jarventie, T.Peddle (big fan)

And as MD said ANY goalie at this point could really pay off.

    Good luck!

I appreciate the tips. I was able to nab Cagnoni, Mania, Ciernik (I was on the clock and didn't know it so quickly typed his name in), Fowler, and Unger Sorum all with picks later than 80. Pretty pleased.

Yegor Sidorov. He could score 60 goals in the WHL this season.

Goalies I targeted late in the entry draft:

Ruslan Khazheyev - 5th round - Hurricanes - Big Russian goalie putting up impressive numbers in the MHL.
Damian Clara - 2nd round - Ducks - Huge Italian goalie with decent numbers in SWE J20, but has had some stand out international performances for Italy. Could be fun to follow this unique story.
Yegor Zavragin - 3rd round - Flyers - Decent sized Russian goalie with impressive numbers in the MHL and a couple of games in the VHL.

Khazheyev was the #1 ranked goalie using Byron Bader's statistical model. I took him in my 6th round as a flyer.
