I really don’t know why McDaniel wouldn’t go for the kick and the all time most points scored in a game record. What’s the sense in stopping at 70? If it was about “respect”, why didn’t you shut it down earlier?

Dolphins are already the talk of the town and going to have a target on them, but you set a record and EVERYONE is going to be gunning for you. Call it respect, or the code, or whatever. I think there's a part of trying to avoid the bulletin board material for the rest of the season. And they did have the backups in there for most of the 2nd half, so it's not like they didn't shut it down to some extent. The Broncos were just truly that bad.

I think opting not to kick the FG to go for the points record is a brilliant extra little "f*ck you" to Sean Payton.

Like, "this wasn't about getting some record. Oh, we could have gotten it. We know it; you know it; the world knows it. But that wasn't important to us. 70 with some left on the field is enough. Enjoy the ride home."

Chargers Mike Williams is out with a torn ACL. They may have won yesterday's sad sack challenge with Minnesota but they've lost the war.

The amount of offensive "skilled position" players getting season ending injuries through 3 weeks is a surprise really.

Joe Cool is dealing with a nagging calf injury which apparently, if not treated with caution could put his season in jeopardy. But he is campaigning with the team to play tonight.

I think we saw the timing between Chase and Burrow finally coming together yesterday.

However, Burrow calf is still an obvious issue. He won't be healthy for the whole season. He isn't a running guy, but that line makes it where he should be able to shift in the pocket, or run out of it. The second he ran to the sideline on a play in the 2nd half, he was kinda limping after.

In week 5 I think the timing of Chase and Burrow will be back fully though.

I saw the whole Kaepernick letter to be on the Jets practise squad. While it's a travesty and shame he hasn't been given a chance in recent years, for him to say the Jets doing that would be "risk free" is pretty nonsensical....

The media $hit storm that would come down on that team would ruin whatever confidence Wilson has left. It would be a circus.

He needs to let it go and just move on from the NFL. It's clear no one is going to give him another shot.

I understand from his PR standpoint he needs to keep doing this to have his like clothing line still in the public eye (like the line he has with Nike or whatever). But omg, you're even too old to stay in the league if you were around the last 10yrs.

However, I would love to see him flame out in the CFL. Or ball out.

Have to say, I'm starting to get a little worried about Richardson already. It's obviously the very beginning of the guy's career, but he's started 4 games and managed to finish only 1 of them. Sure, it's easy to say that maybe it's bad luck or he'll learn how to protect himself a bit better. But his size and aggressiveness rushing is what gives him the massive upside that he has (both in real life and fantasy). Take that away from him or limit it too much and he's a completely different prospect.

Lots of attention on the poor start by Bryce Young, but I'd be equally if not more worried about Richardson if I'm the Colts. Electric when on the field, but already a concussion, a shoulder injury, a knee tweak and an extended absence to go along with it -- in less than a month of football.

Anthony Richardson has a really good chance to be the league MVP one season. But, I can't see him having a good career where a team would want to invest a whole lot into the player in guaranteed money.

Maybe these injuries will change how he views his style.
