10 teams, categories G,A,PP,SHP and then W, SV% and SO. Only 3 goalies are being kept out of that. Skater heavy. Random thought would be locking up goalies right off the bat and then dealing with skaters. In a position to add Otter or Sorokin to my Shesterkin and going from there.

Okay, so this is a bit more clear. Depends on whom you are giving up for either of those guys, as skaters are generally more reliable, however these 2 should be reliable, and being to ignore a position is good in that you don't need to chase it.

Agreed. ROTO, 2 goalie slots, 164 game limit, no limit on how many goalies. Appreciate all the input. Goalie categories represent 3 of the 7 total categories, so a good portion. Already have Shesterkin as a keeper (3 keeper limit), debating locking up the goalie categories and going from there.

I wonder if it wouldn't be a better strategy to avoid goalies knowing you have Shesterkin locked down and go for skaters instead. You could snag some backups later and cherrypick starting opportunities.
