I finally got it. I won’t even say how much time I put into this.
Ken Baumgartner
Clue# 8 For one season I split time in the AHL and the National League in Switzerland. I was considered a non-import player due to my Swiss citizenship.
Clue# 7 I played a role in establishing the collective bargaining agreement between the NHLPA and the NHL during the 1994–95 season.
Clue# 6 I earned a degree in business and finance during my NHL off seasons.
Clue# 5 I assure you I exist
Clue# 4 Like Tocchet, I became an assistant coach following the year I retired, except it was with the team that I last played on.
Clue# 3.5 I also have a points record that Gretzky has not come close to!
Clue# 3 My PIM totals (per season) rival Gretzky's point totals.
Clue# 2 Like Wendel, I was also a Canadian winger. Almost even the same province!
Clue# 1 I was born a year before my most played on team last won the Stanley Cup.

I am indeed, Ken Baumgartner!
I currently hold the bar for the lowest amounts of points while playing a full 82 game season. The whopping amount of points = 1 (assist).
Born in Flin Flon, MB is right on the Saskatchewan border.

That was a good one with very good clues. I’ll try to post someone later today or tomorrow.

Okay, let's do this....
CLUE#1 - I'm a European Forward who finished my professional career outside of the NHL

Yikes, not a single guess? I had a few minutes to kill so here's a bonus clue..
CLUE#1 - I'm a European Forward who finished my professional career outside of the NHL
CLUE#2 - Although my games played varied in the seasons in question, and thus did my scoring rate, for eight straight NHL seasons I played for the same team and my point total was always within a nine point range (for example, and this is not the actual range, but let's say I scored between 67 and 76 points in each of eight straight seasons, that's what I mean)

I am not Pavel Datsyuk. Here's another clue:
CLUE#1 - I'm a European Forward who finished my professional career outside of the NHL
CLUE#2 - Although my games played varied in the seasons in question, and thus did my scoring rate, for eight straight NHL seasons I played for the same team and my point total was always within a nine point range (for example, and this is not the actual range, but let's say I scored between 67 and 76 points in each of eight straight seasons, that's what I mean)
CLUE#3 - I was involved in a trade deadline deal which, over time, became VERY lopsided in favor of the team that dealt me away

Martin Erat
Martin Erat
12 team Yahoo Roto keeper (keep 3)
9 F, 6 D; roster 3 G max
G,A,PPP,SOG,BLKS,HITS - W,SO,SV%,Saves
F: B Tkachuk, Stutzle, Eriksson Ek, Necas, Konecny, Cooley, Boldy, Lehkonen, Tippett
D: Dahlin, Seider, Matheson, Durzi, Addison, Mintyukov
G: Hill, Husso
IR:
Bench: L Hughes, Merzlikins, Terry, Tuch
Correct, and just beat Tweet to it!
I picked Erat because I did not remember him being as productive as he was. The next clue was going to be that he played for an NHL team that had one name one season, then another the next, that being the Phoenix Coyotes and then Arizona Coyotes.
You're up again Invictus....
