Okay, put on your thinking caps and make sure your super computers are fully charged....
CLUE#1 - I'm a retired North American defenseman who never played a single game for the team that drafted me

Jake Muzzin
I am not Jake Muzzin. Let's jump into another clue.
CLUE#1 - I'm a retired North American defenseman who never played a single game for the team that drafted me
CLUE#2 - I was somewhat of a frustrating fantasy own, as although I had two 50+ point seasons and another one just under that rate, I followed up each one with less than point per every other game scoring the next season and in fact had only one other season in my career with a point per every other game scoring rate

I'll toss out one more clue for the day....
CLUE#1 - I'm a retired North American defenseman who never played a single game for the team that drafted me

CLUE#3 - Although I was not one of the top 100 players selected in my draft class, I'm ranked within the top 20 in career points for those picked that year

Okay, no overnight guesses. Here's another clue....

CLUE#3 - Although I was not one of the top 100 players selected in my draft class, I'm ranked within the top 20 in career points for those picked that year
CLUE#4 - For my career I averaged just under 10 goals per full season (i.e., 10 goals per every 82 games), but I had just one playoff goal in over 50 playoff games, this despite having point per every other game playoff scoring in four of the five times that teams I was on made the playoffs

Correct - well done! My next clue was going to be "I was once suspended for an on ice incident that did not involve another player" which I'm pretty sure would've given it away. I was surprised that Wideman was such a late draft pick and that he only played 12 seasons - I'd have sworn it was longer.
The floor is yours......
