10.10 Luke Schenn

His strengths are what I was looking for while not hurting +/- (I hope). I think there were some better picks to be made here.

Strength: BLKS, HITS, PIM
Weakness: PPP, PTS, SOG
Bonus: Getting Logan Thompson at this point in the draft is also pretty sweet.
Round Winner: Adam Larsson, High BLK HITS +/- that I love on a Dman. Low points and SOG, but that can be found elsewhere imo.
Round Loser: Laine, low Hits +/- PIM. Scoring and SOG would offset this had I have him projected to play more then 60 GP.

I like Thompson, who could be a steal in round 10, but even the 'round loser' Laine could have a huge season in a potentially much improved Columbus. Tough to find any bad picks this round, just like last round. There are three Columbus picks in each of the rounds 9-11 which could all be round winners or losers depending on how Columbus do as a team. So far every Columbus pick have been labeled a 'loser' pick.

It's another thing to remember when the season is over - Babcock-Columbus a good or a bad bet to succeed?

Vasi just announced out for 10 weeks. I'm starting to see why some people punt goalies lol.
I mean it could happen to any player at any position, but still hurts to see one of my higher draft picks already out for a while.

That went worse than expected.. I doubt many would downrate Columbus for this though.

Yea, it sucks to lose players before the season. My final pick gamble on Pelletier already turned bad :-(

I was thinking I must be decently up there for games missed too, as I know vasi and couture are both yet to play this year. Not sure who else on my team has missed time, I’ll have to check.

also my team is doing pretty darn bad lol. I went goalie strong early and it’s not paying off at all yet lol

Yea, Jeff Petry getting injured... and Alex Barkov... and Sam Bennett... and Kirby Dach... who could've predicted that these iron men would get injured...?
At least the back of Mark Stone seems to be intact so far. ..and EK is doing okay too..
