I know dferg in real life, we text quite a lot. I’ll be watching the draft thread fairly close, and I’ll make sure to message him if he starts taking too long to make his selection.

Also, does a person have to have a fantrax account to see their recommended ranking order? I have a decent idea of who I’d like to target, but wouldn’t mind seeing their list too if possible.

edit: ..and if someone didn't notice - no one-goalie strategy allowed, according to new rule . edit: I suppose, it's easy to work around that one still.

yeah, at the end of the day I can't really stop that strategy without adding some extra rules so I removed that part from the notes

I'm good with an informal rule to try not be under 30 or so goalie starts. I suspect me and perhaps Invictus were the only ones considering it anyway.

How do Oilers fans feel having the #1 and #2 picks off the board in fantasy drafts?

This is where I really think the draft begins....

I think the first three that were picked are the first three that go in this setup 99/100 times.

Pick #4 is where I first see options.

My tactic of hoping one of the three to fall to me failed. Pick #4 was tough. Rantanen should be a decently safe pick, but it's a steep drop from #1-3 :-/
Rest now should be interesting to follow...

Yes. I'm always surprised when people say they want to pick anywhere except the top picks of a fantasy hockey draft.
