    Default georgiev vs vasilevski

can georgiev now be considered an elite keeper fantasy G? or is he simply a good goalie on a good team but replacable?

Currently own Georgiev, but wanted to see perceived value and if i should try and acquire Vasilevski for Georgiev instead. Looking to win-now as well as securize short/long term as well.

Is Georgiev a fantasy G stud in the top 1-3 in his position?

I don't think it's ever really a good idea to spend up on a goaltender these days. Georgiev isn't necessarily top tier but he's not far off. And I definitely wouldn't pay extra to get Vasilevskiy. Either guy could disappoint, but good luck forecasting it.

He's close but for me he has to show he can keep doing what he did last year. Not saying he has to get 40W but over 30-35 with good average and save % on a consistent basis. I think he can do it but Vas is already there (yes he has had some struggles) but he maintains that elite status for a reason.

    I still have:

    Vas
    Shesty
    Sorokin
    Saros
    Helly

But with a great year this year I'd say he slips in there.

Definitely worth exploring acquiring Vasi coming off a down year. I would add a little bit to make the swap, but wouldnt overpay since goalie is so volatile these days.

Im certainly a ZeroG believer but at the same time if you are keeping a G anyway might as well see if you can sell high on your guy if you 'believe' Vasi is superior
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
