So far it's been a very predictable 50/50 split for the most part, with both goalies performing well. Do you think this trend will continue? Given that it's pretty much a given, carrying Gustavsson as a 3rd goalie makes a lot of sense. Even if it's 1 or 2 games a week, his #'s are safe and he will do more good than harm tossing him out there...much better than the usual #3.

At this point I’d rather have Gustafson then Korpisalo.. But that is just my opinion!!

Oh no doubt, he's just a replacement for Jarry until he returns. I'm working a deal to get either Kuemper or Georgiev, so that would give me Jarry Geo/Kuemper and Gus as my 3 tenders....unless I'm able to keep Talbot out of the trade, then it would be between Gus and Talbot. But Gus' #'s are better despite playing less, but more predictable, games then Talbot.

EDIT: my offer for Georgiev was accepted.

I’m pretty certain I read somewhere a while back MAF preferred splitting the workload this year. Come playoffs it would serve him better (being rested/not injured). I think we will see a 50/50 the rest of the year as long as Gus continues to play well!

Gustavsson's been better than Fleury, so I'd agree with you.
