He's rising from the ashes of the scrapheap to hold down a starting job in the NHL over not one, but two fairly entrenched and highly paid guys. He's on 2 of my rosters, I actually inherited him in a deep dynasty I took over.

I've only been spot starting him, but I am now at the point where he is too hot to not start. I started Skinner over him tonight figuring it's in Edmonton.

I have no idea how long this hot run will last, but he's starting in my deep dynasty when available. He's still behind Hellebuyck in the other league.

I know he's gotten some traction in discussions about which guy to keep, but I think he's pretty clearly staying in the NHL the whole year at this point. Anyone have anything else to add, especially anyone who has seen some games? I haven't seen one of his games, but am going to try to do so, because this is weird.

Another backup finding his way in LA. Go figure.

I watch a lot of Kings/Ducks games being in Southern CA. They Kings are buzzing right now and look very dangerous sans that Boston game. They’ll keep riding Copley till the wheels fall off. He’s actually still available in my 1 year redraft league, probably picking him (or MAF who was recently dropped) up sooner than later myself and dropping Kochetkov since Andersen is back soon..

Craig Anderson redux? He never really got any traction until the age of 29 in that Florida half-season, before going to Colorado as the starter. Weirder things have happened!

He's winning but his other stats (SV%, GAA) are very mediocre. The Kings are scoring and Copley is not letting in too many softies but I suspect once the Kings hit a scoring drought, Copley's value will plummet.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

This is a good point. Copley has looked solid this season and earned the crease in LA. If he’s available, he’s a great pick up!

Exactly this. It’s amazing how desperate the kings were for average goaltending, they are a dangerous team that can score and just needed mediocre.
