I made a pretty substantial trade today just for the fun of it. I think I made out pretty well but what do you think?

Received: Pavelski, Forsberg, Josi, Letang, Tarasenko and E. Kane, 6th round pick
I realize I moved the best player in the deal in Pasta but in my league you can't hold a keeper for more than four years and his time was up unfortunately.

It resets on all players being traded. Four years for each owner on any individual when kept consecutively. So I either trade pasta to someone so they can keep him for four years or I put him back in the draft.

Looking at this from a player comparison perspective there is some good and some not so good. Bottom line however, I think this is pretty much a wash. You could likely have done a bit better but you could also have done much worse and you did turn Pasta into something rather than loose him for nothing so that's a good thing.
