Mrazek dropped

Hi all,

Mrazek was just dropped for what ever reason. My goalies are VGK tandem, Markström & Reimer and categories are Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Saves (SV), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO). H2H League.

Would you:
A) pick Mrazek, try to trade Markström and go with VGK- and CAR tandem ROS. I suppose Ned will be send to taxi squad(?)
B) drop Reimer for Mrazek
C) do nothing.

My goalie categories are:
Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Saves (SV), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)

It would be nice to know your roster size when making this evaluation as I typically try to shy away from rostering 4 goalies in an H2H league. Losing those extra skater games can really hurt.

But since you already roster 4 goalies, I like the option of rolling with the two tandems. Mrazek and Reimer will likely split starts moving forward so it guarantees you all the games from two strong teams.

If you can get a good return on Markstrom, then option A is your best bet.

Are you able to reserve Mrazek until he plays? My league uses IR+, so he is on IR and I have Reimer and Nedeljkovic active.

Nedeljkovic starting tonight at home against Columbus. His individual numbers are better than Reimer's so far this year.
Ned - 9GP, 6W, 2.08 GAA, .929 SV%, 1 SHO
Reimer - 16 GP, 12W, 2.74 GAA, .907, 0 SHO

I'm ok to go with 4 goalies. No IR+ unfortunately. I am currently pos.1 in my league.

If Nedeljkovic doesn't have a quality start tonight, I think we'll start seeing Reimer/Mrazek going forward. If he plays well again, he should get more starts.

Interesting that Ned was drafted 37th overall and Demko was 36th in 2014. Both having breakout seasons.

Being in on the Car tandem is a blessing and a curse at the same time. Stellar goaltending, but you've also got 3 goalies in the mix, including one who's hurt and one who might be on the taxi squad, as well as constant rumours that they'll all be made irrelevant by the Canes landing a clear #1 at the deadline.

Since we don't know when Mrazek is back, I would probably recommend doing nothing for now. Would not make room for the Carolina tandem though, since we don't even really know what that will be in a few weeks.

IF I decide to forget the CAR tricycle, there is Oettinger in FA list. So, the question would be rephrased whether to have Markström&Oettinger or Mrazek&Reimer with VGK tandem?

Probably go with the forrmer, as I would not want to get rid of Markstrom just to make way for the unstable Carolina three wheeler.
