I just picked Dreidger up... I have Bob... debating dropping Dreidger for Halak if Rask is out a while or Smith (Edm)

Boston is a great team... if Rask is out and you have a chance at picking up Halak I would make the move. Especially if it is someone like Dreidger you have to drop.

Agreed on this move. They were starting Bob when he was losing and looked horrible. If Bob is winning he's going to keep getting more starts.Originally Posted by PenguinHunter

I doubt Rask is out for very long judging by the most recent updates (though we never know for sure with these thing) so I would proceed with caution if you think Halak is going to be taking over a starting role. That said, I would say that Halak and Driedger are likely a wash for the rest of the season both on the weak end of a time share on good teams.

I trust Halak to not turn into an albatross far more than almost any backup in the league. If he gets a couple extra starts short term, that's gravy.
Smith might be a better grab, though for volume.
