Goalie change needed - drop Gibson or Blackwood?
Goalie stats have been killing me running Gibson and Blackwood out there during their slumps. Do I drop Blackwood or Gibson for any of Korpisalo, Petersen, Demko, Sorokin? Drop both?

If it is a 1-year league, drop Blackwood. For as good as he looked earlier this season, he is lost right now. Plus, New Jersey is still awful.

I struggle seeing a scenario here where you drop Gibson.
Blackwood, on the other hand, is a possibility? Is this a one year league? If so, I'd drop Blackwood. I have little faith in NJ for the rest of the season. If you're looking for a short term fix, I think Demko is the best option. Sorokin and Peterson are also worth consideration longer term.

I dropped Gibson for Demko. I was pretty high on Demko coming into the season and he really disappointed. He has turned things around the past few weeks. Worst case it's a lateral move for you. Gibson had a great start but is nearly unplayable right now.
Edit: I should add, I might be more inclined to drop Blackwood. I haven't really been paying much attention to him.

It's a keeper league but I have one additional player to assign a contract. Likely not going to be blackwood. With Lankinen and Gibson getting huge volume, it makes sense like some have mentioned to make the move for Sorokin, especially if he starts taking starts away from Varly going forward. Gibson and Blackwood have caused me to slip from 1st to 4th in a matter of weeks lol.

Demko was really left on an island by the Canucks in some of those games earlier this season. Demko is streaky but I think he is very talented.Originally Posted by islefan31
