Lankinen or Petersen

Long time listener, First time caller

I currently own Lankinen, he's obviously been putting up great numbers. However im not super confident in him long term. Should I drop him for Peterson?

Also just noticed as I am writing this, some notable goalies on the wire that I can grab are; Saros, Mrazek, Elvis. This would be my 3rd Goalie slot as I already have talbot and grubauer.

I respectfully disagree. I can't say that the Blackhawks are better than the Kings., at least for this season. Especially if we are talking defence.. Lankinen is about to cool off and actually I could see Subban start stealing some starts from him.

Stachews if u have an IR I would grab Mrazek over the other options. If not, Petersen over Lankinen.

I agree that stashing Mrazek is the best move long-term if you have the IR space. But I like Lankinen over Petersen.

NHL teams are unbelievably stubborn when it comes to starting their higher-paid goalie over the better-performing goalie. I think Petersen splits starts somewhat evenly whereas Lankinen gets the majority, and I think CHI is better than LA this year. Marginally.

I'd also stash Mrazek for a few reasons.

1. Carolina is better than LA & Chicago.
2. While technically Mrazek is paid less than Reimer, neither Petersen nor Lankinen are the higher paid goalies on their team.

I do really like Elvis & Saros as goalies, bu the situations aren't great right now. Neither team is playing really well.
