Here we go guys..
I've been offered Sorokin for Kaprizov.
My team isn't getting any younger. Does this trade make sense for me? (team in sig)
-I'm a little concerned about Varlamov killing it on the Isle, possibly for a few more years. How does this affect Sorokin?
-Having Peterson/Sorokin/Shesterkin/Demko between the pipes makes me rock solid for the next decade.
-Up front, am I little thin? Do I need more offensive help, rather than goalies?
-Both guys forecast to be rock solid long term.
-Do I need some patience?
I'd love some feedback/team analysis. Thanks in advance!

In a vacuum, I'd take Sorokin, but given your situation, you're already good at G. If you're itching to deal, perhaps suggest Kaprizov and Peterson for Sorokin and a forward prospect that grabs your attention.

I'd keep Kaprizov here. Shestkerin and Demko are good starting goalies and I think your priority is up front.

I'd want Kaprizov since skaters are more reliable.

Sorokin could stand to learn some angle work / rebound control in the AHL . Its obviously a small sample size and he's received literally zero goal support in his 2 gp's but a good 21 day stint once the AHL season starts with a heavy workload might help him in the long run .He gets paid 2 mil whether he's in nhl or ahl so thats not an issue .
and I'm certainly eating some crow considering I thought he could unseat Varlamov at some point during this season .

Kaprizov > Sorokin.
Goalies are hit & miss... skaters, usually not.
I just have way more faith that Kaprizov will be a high-end player at his position than I do Sorokin being high-end goalie.

1. Of course Chico Resch wants an Isles goalie.
2. That deal is a big improvement with Romanov & the pick. Romanov will be good for you.
