Nurse, Toews, Kopitar, and Lindholm are all pretty close. Lindholm gets an extra bump from getting FOWs at a winger spot so I like him over Toews and Kopitar. With those stats and being roto- Teravainen and Debrincat suffer since they don't get any of the grit stats.

So it comes down to Lindholm or Markstrom for me. There is comfort in getting your goalies settled early. Granted, you have Helleybuck, Samsonov, and Sorokin. That would sway me to take Lindholm.

You have Helly, Samsonov, and Sorokin, I personally think you're set on goalie. I'd take Lindholm. Tera/Lindholm.

Kopitar/Toews are great for FW, but yuo have Zib and Barkov who should be enough in that Cat.

You could take a Defense here too. Your team is stacked at F. Ovi, BTkachuk, Barkov, Kane, Wheeler, Svech, Laf, Byfield, Hughes, Kakko, Kaprizov, Yamamoto...And you have Carlson, Makar and Bouchard...Maybe beefing up that D with a hitting d-man to offset Makar and Carlson?

If you don't win this upcoming yr...something wrong has happened. Your 4th overall doesn't matter I think haha.

Only 13 goalies were protected as keepers, so there are lots to be drafted including Markstrom, Holtby, Kuemper, Murray, Varlamov, Khudobin, Raanta, Greiss, Mrazek, Dubnyk, Rinne, Saros, Blackwood...but Markstrom is one of my favourites and definitely a tier or more above all these guys IMO. Just wondering if I need Markstrom when I have Hellebuyck and the continual streaming of Samsonov and Sorokin.

Thank you. I look at my minors and I see so many daily streams that maybe my offence will be good enough to take Markstrom with that 4th overall. I’m torn.

Me too. Worried about my D not being peripheral enough if I let Nurse or Pulock pass me by here though. My minors are a constant stream of offence, so I’m clueless as to the right pick for me here at 4th.

Haha. Thank you. Pulock, Nurse, Lindholm, Markstrom. There are strategic reasons to draft each one here and I can’t figure it out. My minors are a constant stream of goodness, I almost feel like I should go D or G.

I guess the better question is, do you plan on promoting Samsonov or Sorokin?

The good thing is they will need to be promoted as keepers in different offseasons. Samsonov in 2021, Sorokin 2022.

I will take my chances with Lindholm. Markstrom is tempting but I just think that he is too risky for this upcomin season. He had probably his best season last year - just for that reason alone pople are too high on him for this season... and that Canadian division it will be super tough I think. He could be a bust actually.

I go Lindholm for scoring and periphs in your setting. Markstrom a close 2nd (and I might consider him as a trade chip because if you choose him, you will be very solid between pipes where other GMs in your league will be hurtin most for sure). You are quite set up by your minors... gotta love that! Great keepers too!

There is a world where because I’d like to compete for championship and my minors are already stacked, I could trade one of my elite minors for 5th overall ++ that way I can draft both Lindholm and Markstrom.
