The Rock was always more fun as a heel anyway.
I haven't watched wrestling in awhile and I try to shy away from reddit but I was surprised at the vitriol being sent his way in some reddit posts. So, what's the deal? Is it a babyface fan-favourite got bumped from Wrestlemania so the Rock to return for the main-event?

I mean I think it's all rumors right now. But here is my understand....

Original plan was: Rhodes vs Reigns. Punk vs Rollins
Rhodes won Rumble. In that match, Punk got hurt making him vs Rollins a no go
WWE tried to switch and say Rhodes was now going to face Rollins. With Rock facing Reigns

I heard the initial plan was to have Punk win the Rumble, but they called an audible to allow Rhodes to win, once Punk sustained the injury.

Fun Mania weekend ahead. The Rock has been in full blown promo more for this whole run. I can't believe he's been on TV as much as he has.
I also heard Jason Kelce is probably going to be making an appearance.

I did not expect Cody to win. Crazy that it's been well over 3 years since Roman has been without the title. It was long winded, but I enjoyed it. I like Cena showing up but Stone Cold would have been epic with The Rock and one of his famous sells of a stunner. When The Shield Music hit I was REALLY hoping for an Ambrose appearance, which would have been epic. I thought the Undertaker was unnecessary. Overall it was a slow beginning, but I like how it ended.
Not sure where Reigns goes from here. I expect he will take some time off. Not sure he comes back as a heel or not. I think with him not having the belt, the heel doesn't work as well.
It was a solid event. I love Zayn beating Gunther and was hands down the match of the event for me. There were quite a few really good matches and not many duds. I give both nights a solid 7.5 out of 10.
