Who's the goalie to have in Chicago?
I have seen some posts says it's Lehner and some say it's Crawford. Is it a 50/50 or is it someone's job to lose?
In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:
G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA and Shots.
C - Larkin, Couturier, Kopitar, Cirelli
LW - OV, Panarin (1), Schenn (C), Ehlers (RW), Kreider
RW - Kucherov (0), Seguin (C), Palmieri, Voracek, Yamamoto
D - Yandle, DeAngelo
W, GAA, SV% and Saves.
G - Rask, Varlamov, Hart, Mrazek
IR+ - Tarasenko

I would guess this: it's Crawford's job to lose, and I think he will lose it. He should probably get the first crack at it, and then through injuries or poor play I think Lehner gets it. I have both guys as 1 year rentals so I have no dog in the fight, but I think they will battle it out. If you are drafting soon, I would think Lehner is probably higher on people's lists, so maybe you try to get him first. I would want both or neither, to be honest. It's almost a coin toss and my leaning to Lehner really is just speculation.

Yeah for me its Crowford's job to lose. He will probably start the first game but eventualy he will start losing starts to Lehner.

I think it is Crawford’s job to lose. Lehner will also play a lot , but I think Crawford will still be considered the starter.

Agree with the above - surprised Crawford is risking another concussion as his long term health should be more important. Lehner will be the starter Dec/Jan and run with it. He is the obvious re-sign for next year (between the 2) and Chicago will want to see if he is their starting keeper for the next few years. Crawford has had a great career, but will turn 36 next season and doubt there will be much interest beyond a back-up spot on another team.
