Question Who could be the next G who steals a no1?

Hey Guys, I'm wondering which Goalie can be a good investment (keeper league) who is going up this year and stealing the no1 position from the current one. Like Rittich, Grubauer, Koskinen, Korpisalo? Hart and Binnington did last season. Can be a backup, can be an AHL starter who comes up after an injury.

    Thanks your opinion.

Saros comes to mind right off the bat. Ullmark is another goalie to keep in mind.

    My guesses:

    Eric Comrie - Winnipeg
    Jonathan Bernier - Detroit
    Linus Ullmark - Buffalo
    McKenzie Blackwoof - New Jersey.

Ullmark, Merzlikins, Blackwood, Francouz, Nedeljkovic seem like the best candidates to me.

I like Sheshyorkin (<sp). If Mrazek stumbles early we may see ANed.

Shestorykin is 1-2 years out he needs to adjust to the smaller rink still in the AHL. Georgiev has proven himself and I bet he sees 20-25 starts minimum maybe more.

    Georgiev is my bet.
Others could be Ullmark, Saros, Jarry (Murray injury), Demko, etc. Lots of good options.

it's amazing how little attention Demko has received. Only EB mentioned him.

Markstrom is as shaky as they come.

Because Markstrom was actually really solid last year. Quality start % of 63%, and a "really bad start" stat of under 12%. With the team Vancouver had last year, that's impressive.
I know they haven't gotten much better, but adding Miller, Ferland, Hughes, and Myers won't hurt. That's why Demko isn't at the top of my list anyays, but you're right, he does deserve the mention.

Georgiev, Nilsson, Elvis are my top 3.

I won't count Saros, as there's no theft going on, it's a planned transition.

^I thought that Nilsson was given the green light to be the starting goalie already...its his job to lose at this point.
