Re: Ranking mid tier goalie tandems for 2019-2020
Ranking only the goaltending as a team in a GAA, SV%, Ws setting I prefer:
1. Islanders – Had a great system last year, mostly the same roster.
2. Devils – Vastly improved team
3. Carolina – amongst the lowest shots allowed per game.
4. Arizona – vastly improved, good defense, few wins
5. Calgary- Great D if the goalies can be steady. Talbot could rebound
6. Philadelphia – young improving team and D-core.
7. Chicago – a good combo if you can get both.
8. Buffalo – improving D-core and team overall.
9. CBJ- lots of question marks. Yuck
10. DET- full on rebuild, not a lot to like
11. LA- old and slow, I don't believe Quick can carry the team.
12. Edmonton -Yucky yuck yuck. Probably the worst goalie tandem in the league, win total will improve, peripherals will be ugly.
12 team H-2-H 1 year league, daily roster changes, 3 goalie start minimum/week
