October 15th bids are a wrap and in Comish\'s hands - generally things are going well and thanks again for making my job pretty easy.

I just have a couple of small requests to make things even easier for me:

1. don\'t need $ signs thanks
2. do not need the name of a player\'s team or their first name or initial (unless they share the same name as another player in the league)
3. all caps suck!!
4. if you have more than one vacancy and you are putting in multiple bids to fill those vacancies - could you indicate this by saying NA (1), NA (2) or IR (1) or IR (2) (I don\'t see the leagues so I don\'t know how many vacancies you actually have, so I start by assuming you have 1 and don\'t process further bids - of course we can fix that later in most cases)

All these things will save me a little time in each case. I appreciate your help here.

What do you mean by : NA (1), NA (2) or IR (1) or IR (2) ?

Ah - if you put NA (1) or IR (1) in the \"player to drop field\" of the form then I know you have a vacant slot to fill. If you next put NA (2) or IR (2) beside a new \"players name to pick up\", then I know you have a 2nd vacant spot.

My problem has been if I get a set of normal bids like this, I know to process the 2nd if the 1st doesn\'t succeed, but don\'t if it is with more than vacant roster spot:

Bid #1 - Pick-up: Crosby Bid: $1 Drop: Ovechkin
Bid #2 - Pick-up: Versteeg Bid: $1 Drop: Ovechkin

However with vacant slots to allow for the pick-up (s), I can\'t be sure if you are looking at one or two slots in this scenario. So don\'t know if I award both players if your bids are winners. If you have only one vacant spot then only one player can be picked up - but if bid #1 isn\'t successful then I go to bid #2.

Bid #1 - Pick-up: Crosby Bid: $1 Drop: NA or IR
Bid #2 - Pick-up: Versteeg Bid: $1 Drop: NA or IR


If (as was the case this week) someone has more than 1 spot available due to IR then I need an indicator to process more than one bid, as follows.

Bid #1 - Pick-up: Crosby Bid: $1 Drop: NA (1) or IR (1)
Bid #2 - Pick-up: Versteeg Bid: $1 Drop: NA (2) or IR (2).

In this case I will process bids until the IR vacancies are filled if there are enough bids made.

I think folks assume that I can see into their leagues - I can\'t. I am blind on the other end of this process, so need your submissions to guide my processing in this way.
