This was a mental block loss I think. Toronto wins game 1, this series is VERY different.

2 things I saw in the series vs the Pacers and the Raps was Pacers brought the pace to Cleveland, and Love couldn't hit a shot. Pacers were the young brother running and doing everything in their athleticism to beat the older brother. Toronto is like the middle brother who's not as fast and tried to out play the oldest brother.

Oladipo brought the game to LeBron and the others, he was fast, made you run after him, tired you out. Toronto just didn't do that. I thought it was obvious offensively you got to tire LeBron and let him beat you with low assist numbers. Defensively Toronto was terrible. Lowry couldn't cover Korver at all, they couldn't guard screens, and not once did they try to go zone defense against the team.

HOWEVER, OG Anunoby is going to be good. He wasn't even supposed to be in the NBA this yr because of his torn knee. He gains some weight, works on his 3 consistency, he's going to be a solid player.

I'm just a peripheral Raptor fan. I know how they are doing but thats about it. As a Torontonian, I do root for them. That being said, Dwayne Casey has to be let go. His team totally quit on him after the first game of the series and embarrassed themselves. If a coach can't motivate his team to at least be competitive when it counts, he shouln't be coaching.

Could win coach of the year and might get fired.

I think if he's fired, it'll be a step backwards next yr. However, Casey's style seems out of date, and he's a bit of a fish out of water when trying to coach against teams like Cavs, Houston, and GSW. You saw what he can do against "old-school-ball" in the Wizards. But defense by offense seems foreign to him.

Someone needs to take the fall on this, and it'll likely be Casey (word was Masai Ujiri or whatever you spell it was mulling over firing him last yr), but lets be honest...Ibaka was supposed to be the 3rd guy, he's paid like a No2 guy, and was terrible. No one stepped up besides JV, but at his position he can't win games, and he can't when he plays only 20min a game.

Guess is Casey gets fired, no one is really traded, no one is signed really. Raps end up a 4/5 seed next yr.

What the Raps need is for LeBron to sign with Lakers this offseason. That will help them tremendously in getting to the finals next year.

Paul Pierce's comments from his time with Brooklyn is holding true. They're a good team, but they don't have that necessary playoff edge to dig deeper than the other team. These Raps are still playoff soft.

I never really got why he would go out west right now. Houston, GSW, and Pelicans (if they get Boogie) are 3 STRONG teams. And I dunno if a Lakers team with Lebron and PG would be that much better than those 3 (better than Pelicans tho). The path to the finals in the east goes through whatever team he's on right now, and it's not like he's coasting through the east, he's picking up the team and carrying it.

I wouldn't bank on him going out west, but if he does Toronto has higher chances, but they way 76ers are playing, they may the next giant of the east. And they didnt even have Fultz this yr really.

2 Game 7s in the Conference Finals......does the obvious happen and it's Cleveland vs GSW again??? Although I guess Boston has been dominating at home...but still.

LeBron is going to be stretched to his limit tonight without Kevin Love...of course Boston has injuries too but they have better depth. I wouldn't bet against him in a game 7 though...

I hate the NBA playoffs now. How are the Pacers the only team that figured out you had to run the old Cavs into the ground? Come on.

I just don't get how the East hasn't learned to beat Lebron 4 times over 7 games

It annoys me even as a peripheral fan.....so I can't imagine how much it bothers a hardcore one.

I am in the same boat. I was watching the 3rd last night... and when the lead evaporated... man I got disappointed.

Lebron definitely gets the calls like Crosby. 2 in the third quarter.

    1) he had wrapped his arm around the other guys arm and then when he tried to move he couldn't and the other guy got the foul.

    2) When one guy was going in for a dunk, he clearly hit all hand and the guy missed the basked and there was no call.

My biggest announce with the calls with Lebron is he can go in and carry 4 ppl on his back and have his layup uneffected like he did in the final minute, but when it's one guy when he's made a bad decision on a drive he flops hard to get the foul call to bail him out, the ref calls it.

Like he's a beast, why is he on the ground so much?

He also clearly elbowed (i think) Smart in the face (Lebron was called for the foul), but look at the media, they're all "Smart fouled by Lebrons Ora" and "Smart flops for the Call". BS like that. Like Smart took a Lebron hard elbow to the face and got up without crying about it. Lebron gets a bit of a smack in the face and he's crying up and down the court AFTER he even got the call.

If I was a ref the second he talked after not getting a call, I would T him up. Take 0 BS right out of the gate.

When you're the KING... you get the calls.

To be fair, I also think he gets hacked a ton which doesn't get called because he's so strong.

Yup, this is how it works, but it is not how it should work.
