I'd have a hard time on 1 hand because schenn at 22nd rd is insane. On the other hand if you were told before this season you could get karlsson for schenn you would have laughed. Ultimately with no real peripherals and karlsson being a 4th rd keeper (still a solid deal) I'd probably take it

Straight up without the keeper implications, its Karlsson, but its not... So wondering which is the best way to go... I feel it makes them fairly even with this aspect...
I probably take a bit of a hit this year, especially with Schwartz coming back soon, but moving forward, I should be good -

i agree that Schenn in 22 round is insane but so is Karlsson in the 4th imo. Yes, i would make that trade

How many do you start at D versus F? And what rounds are your other keepers in? It's hard to think about this in a vacuum.
But generally, I think I see more value at Schenn as the 220th pick versus Karlsson as the 40th pick.
And there is no guarantee that Karlsson or Ottawa turns it around next year. He is still trying to figure things out after that injury and who knows what the new normal is...

Karlsson in 4th round value is what I want. He?s the only d man who can produce at 70+ points on a year to year basis.

I'd rather gave Karlsson. I still view him as the best fantasy d man in the world. Schenn is breaking out but might be due for some regression next season.

I'd keep Schenn. There's a chance the guy doesn't keep Karlsson next year. There's no way you don't keep Schenn.
