I almost wonder if the Jets will quietly look for takers for Mason. They could definitely live without his salary as a backup. There's a few really unstable nets around the league so there could be takers. But maybe its an offseason move.Originally Posted by PenguinHunter

that is a possibility as well. good point!
I wonder if they risk that though cause of their goaltending situation I think Mason has the most playoff exposure. Albeit it wasn't very good exposure haha

Perhaps Buffalo looks at Mason for next season if they want a more reliable 1B behind Lehner?
