I don't see the point in doing this. you start 4d, have 6. You'd never be able to play that 7th Dman, none are a clear upgrade on what you have
Hello All and Happy Friday,
12 team, head to head keeper league. Each team has 27 players (max 4 goalies). Start 9 forwards, 4 defense and 2 goalies. My issue is defense right now. Out rosters are frozen (no trades and no free agent pickups), and I need to make a couple moves to get back to the roster limit.
Categories are G, A, +/-, PIM, ESP, HITS (I usually try and get the PIM's and HITS from Defense)
My current top 5, "set" defense are:
Drew Doughty, Josh Manson, Brandon Montour, Nikita Zadorov, Erik Johnson
My other three are: Brady Skjei, Jordan Oesterle and Samuel Girard
Normally I keep just six defensemen, but I could let go a prospect forward (Sam Bennett, Wennberg) to keep a 7th d-man going forward.
What do you recommend? Thank you for your opinions!

Hello Lucafen,
I have 5 defensemen I know I want to keep, but I should have a 6th just in case. So which of these would be your 6th defensemen:
Brady Skjei, Jordan Oesterle or Samuel Girard
Personally, I'm ranking them as Skjei, Girard and then Oesterle long term.
I'm interested in seeing what peoples thought's are on Skjei. He had an awesome rookie season, points haven't been coming this year. I've watched about 10 NYR games this season and in each one he has passed the eye test, the points just aren't coming. I have an offer involving him on the table (not posting it here as most of the guys in the league are on here regularly), however he's the sticking point of the deal currently.
Seeing as it was just posted Shatty's out indefinitely, it's Skjei for me all the way now
