Stay last and keep the first pick overall. You need another stud aside from Tarasenko. Dahlin could be that guy.
Hey guys, just took over a keeper team because an owner was inactive and not even setting his lines. Team is as follows:
Forwards: Monahan, Tkachuk, Aho, Draisaitl, Rakell, Hall, Meier (temporary), Dadonov, Zetterberg, Stone, Nylander, Atkinson (IR)
Dmen: Pietrangelo, Spurgeon, Manson, Krug, Muzzin (IR)
Goalies: Holtby, Lundqvist, Markstrom
Categories: G (3), A (2), +/-, PIM (0.2), PPG (3), PPA (2), SHG (4), SHA (3), GWG (1), SOG (0.4), Hits (0.3), W (5), GA (-1), Saves (0.2), SHO (3), OTL (2)
Now, this is a pretty active league and I want to make a few trades. I've also added a few guys since I took over a couple days ago and finished off last week with a victory, taking the teams record to 3-12. Still last, but I want to make a playoff push. I'm thinking of targeting some depth forward/dmen but I'm not sure who to target or what a realistic offer is. Do you guys think I need to make any moves?
I've been proposed a trade of Carey price, Kyle Connor and Ivan Provorov for my Holtby and Pietrangelo.

General advice: the biggest mistake I see new GM's make is making a crap load of trades right after taking over a team. I recommend you study trade history for a bit, and also take some time to learn market valuations. Most new GMs lose trades because they don't know market value based on the league's settings.
Regarding trade offers in your format, you might get better responses if you put the number of points (in your settings) that each player has; nobody will take the time to do the math and I assume you have easy access to this info
Also, is this a full or partial keeper league? And how many start at each position?
If they’re anything like my leagues, they like to feast (and fleece) on new flesh. So be sure to know your points of each player like Als said.
