Time again for RANK THAT PROSPECT!!!

Looking to deal my Mantha in the league in my sig for a good return.

Trade partner has these guys and wondering how you'd rank them . If you're not into ranking , just top 5 would be cool.

Elias Pettersson (may seem obvious to be #1 but still very skinny and farther from NHL then some on the list)

Trent Frederic
Ryan Poehling
Anthony Cirelli

Taylor Raddysh
Marcus Davidsson

I would say pettersson is so far above everyone on that list, the kid is a stud,he's projected to be a 1st line on the Canucks for a long time playing with the likes of boeser, he could be in the NHL as early as next year if the sedins retire, although he's a skinny kid he is tall at 6.1 he will fill out in due time, he's also playing with men in the Swedish league which should help when he arrives at NHL,his ppg as of rite now is above backstrom nylander and co, snap him up before it's to late.

Ok so I was pretty much sure Pettersson was the best, by a bit but needed another opinion. Also haven't been offered him, but these are my trade partner's notable prospects.

Assuming I can't get Pettersson, who would the next 5 or so be? I know Chytil is definitely looking good at this stage, but unfortunately he's a NYR prospect haha.

Besides Pettersson I wouldn't consider anyone else.

Actually I'd trade Mantha for Pettersson straight up. Doubt he accepts that though.

I'm with Guru, it's Pettersson or nothing for me. Hell, in some regards, Mantha is still somewhat of a prospect himself as he's barely scratched the surface on his NHL career. If I give you a top five, you might be crazy enough to use it and deal Mantha away from some of them LOL!

Why are you trading him in a keeper?

Well it's not just a keeper it's a dynasty with a cap.

So Mantha is going to be an RFA and right now he's near minimum salary. He would get close to 5x or 6x what he is now and I'm not sure it's worth it. My team is also struggling and fading going into they playoffs.

So you guys wouldn't do something like Chytil and a 1st...?

Tell that to the SEL he's destroying this year. I'd say odds are better than 50-50 he makes the Canucks out of camp in the fall. skinny be damned.

From the rest of the list I like Chytil and Raddysh. If Raddysh makes Tampa next year he should find himself on line 1 or 2 with pp time. For a guy with his offensive potential that screams calder contender

who's spot is Raddysh taking on those two lines? The way Yzerman operates, Raddysh should get a big taste of the AHL next year.

Not sure Mantha gets that kind of pay increase, isn't Detroit tight to the cap? AA had trouble squeezing out his paycheck.

Sorry guys I meant in my pool he gets an increase. Based on our re-sign rules he's due 6-7 mil per year (he's at about 1 mil now) which is about 8% of my cap and I need to pay 23 guys. I also have to re-sign Matthews/Marner/Provorov in 19' off season.

Our dynasty league is pretty intense, but really fun.

I'd get what you can for him unless his 6-7 mil is justified in your league.
