I'll take the OEL side, but I would be wary of trading Hamilton right now. He turns it on in the second half every year.
Points only keeper league. Goals and assists worth a point each. Who wins this trade?

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I own three of these guys in a points-only and dealt Barzal this summer. This is a tough one.
How many F vs. D is probably important here. OEL is the better Dman, but I'm thinking Barzal might prove to be the better F.
I think OEL/Arvidsson is safer, but I think Hamilton/Barzal has more upside as a pair--and I'm generally one to go with upside.
Points-only, Full Keeper Dynasty League
Active roster (no starts, just total points): 12 FW, 6 D, 1 Goalie
Forwards: Kucherov, Barkov, Teravainen, Seguin, Hoffman, Lindholm, Gusev, Horvat, Meier, Perron, Schwartz, Johansen, Pavelski, Buchnevich, Hischier, Granlund, Bracco
Defense: Josi, Dahlin, Letang, Gostisbehere, Ekman-Larsson, Petry, Slavin, Keith, Matheson
Goal: Lehner, Holtby, Varlamov
Farm: Soderstrom, York, Woo, Tracey, Dorofeyev
We have 12 forwards, 6 dmen, 2 goaltenders and 3 bench. We keep 12 at the end of the year.
I currently have the Hamilton and Barzal side. Hamilton was one of my keepers from last year, Barzal I got out of free agency. He Kept both Arvidsson and OEL.
I know Hamilton put up 50 points last year but I just don't see him doing it again. He's younger and cheaper but hes currently having a worse year. He will probably turn it up but I think with Brodie and Gio he won't be given a lot of offensive opportunities. Meanwhile OEL will be given every opportunity in Arizona.
Barzal is on fire right now but hes on the second line and always will be behind JT. What i like about arvidsson is that he has 90 shots. His shoot percentage seems more sustainable but Barzal is more of a setup man anyways.
barzal is second line this year. what happens if JT doesnt resign...
hmm this is like a flip the coin one for me and id probably go with hamilton side i just CGY better. OEL is great just not sure i see him being awesome until Arizona figures it out.

I'm in the same boat as this. I think Arvie's a perennial 65pt guy, but Barzal has that 80+pt upside to him that makes him so damn tempting. I wouldn't worry too much about JT being first.. I mean Pitts has Crosby/Malkin, LA has Carter/Kopitar, Van a couple years ago had Sedin/Kesler, Anh now has Kesler/Getzlaf, Wsh Kuz/Backstrom, Bos - Krejci/Bergeron..
you can have two really solid producing C's on the same team, where Barzal magically falls in that mix is yet to be seen. I'm guessing it's closer to the Backstrom/Kuzy duo level with JT

Would asking for Ghost over OEL make things better or worse? Lol
Worse IMO. I own both. I value OEL higher.
They're both close, but Ghost has been banged up at times

I would keep what you have. If you must trade them it would be advisable to do it when their value is higher, not as it is now with Hamilton. All it takes to get him going again is more power-play time and some confidence.
Barzal already has more points (8 more) than Arvidsson and is four years younger - need I say more? If he continues this pace you will probably be getting offers of players in the upper tier compared to Arvidsson.

Barzal and Hamilton for me. Barzal is a future superstar imo.
Thanks all! I rep'd.
I would find a way to replace Barzal in this deal.. you cannot trade this kid. Period.
