    Default Trade Namestnikov for Paciorety?

Points only league. I'm in second, I've got Namestnikov, guy at the top has Paciorety. He's quick to drop underperformers, already dished Aho and Morgan Rielly due to slow starts, so he might go for it. It's a partial keeper, keep 8 of 18, but Paches likely won't make my 8 so I'm only concerned about this year. How long can Namestnikov keep up this pace playing with the big boys, and will Paches ultimately end up outscoring him over the rest of the year?

I would buy low on Pacioretty. Namestnikov's value is predicated on being a part of that Stamkos/Kucherov line. If that line gets broken up, his points will fall off. Pacioretty will turn it around.

That's what I was thinking. It's always hard to trade away a guy with 13 points for a guy with only 5, but I have to trust the odds. I had a chance to unload Victor Rask last year after the first 20 games when he had a zillion points, and could have likely got a good return, then he crashed and burned. I'd hate to have that happen again with Namestnikov this year.

This is what I was thinking as well. I think worst case, they end up even from here on out. But it's much more likely that patches returns to his normal form and namestinkov slows down.

Patches for me - I like Namestnikov and see him doing a Marchessault this year so will be good but Patches could be as tier or two ahead by seasons end (from here anyway!)

In a keeper league, this is a trade you have to make IMO. MaxPac will find his game.

Ahh the trade goes into effect in 4 days, so I didn't get those points. We give a week for the rest of the teams to object, not sure if anyone every has or ever would, but oh well. At least Namest. got 1 last night too. But yeah, 4 game point streak and a 3-spot last night would have probably been enough to make him hold onto him, so good timing from that point of view for sure.
