Charles Hudon for hits and sogs

In a league where hits and SOG are categories, and in which I am trailing, does Hudon offer any offensive upside than these two categories?

He was always an offensive threat in the AHL. He finally got his first point this year against the Leafs on Saturday and it happened to be on the power-play as well. He won't be putting up huge points but I expect him to start producing more as the year goes on.

Thanks. The other option is Dustin Brown but I always prefer to go with a kid than a retread.

I understand. But I'm also wary of guys whose success depends on the guys they are playing with. At this time in his career, can we really assume Dustin Brown has found the fountain of youth? Again, he is a great short play right now but by picking him up, you could lose out on someone else who has a better long term situation.
