Pasta for Laine
I have Pasta and Marchand.
The other team have Laine and Ehlers.
So, I am thinking this would be a fair trade on both sides.
One thing that I can't figure out is their value, because Laine was way up on the draft list compared to Pasta.
Is this mean Laine has more upside?
Do you guys think it's a even trade?

somehow Marchand, Pasta and Ehlers, Laine are not playing on a same line anymore, but the trade went through.
so will Laine outperform Pasta? does he have higher ceiling?

Not a terrible deal, but to answer your question, yes Laine has the higher ceiling. I have Laine and Ehlers, and honestly I would have offered Ehlers for Pasta (which I admit would be a win if I could get it) but I think that would be closer than pasta for Laine in a keeper, but that's just my opinion

Laine side for sure. Younger, more upside, in a better situation with more offense around him.
