Neal, Pominville, Namestnikov or Brassard?

Any of these with 60 point potential? 55?

Pominville - playing with Eichel. Does it last?
Namestnikov - playing with Kucherov and Stamkos - does it last? If so, does it matter (i.e. he could have a ceiling of 50).
Brassard - was playing at a 55-60 point level prior to last year, and seems to be rebounding. 30 years old, so plenty of juice
Neal - I need 55+ out of him, Historically, all over the map in points. Now seems to be THE man in Vegas. But it's Vegas

Neal, Pominville are better options but you will have to possibly find a replacement as they will likely be injured some time during the year.
If they somehow manage to stay healthy the full season 50-55 is possible.

Namestikov and Brassard aren't much better... but I see them in the 40-45 range more.


So... I would gamble with Neal. Love player on contract year... they find a way too make things happen. But high risk.
But looking at your lineup it;s pretty much a swap. maybe Bobby Ryan swap

The upside lies only with Namestnikov, he's PP1 and line1 wing, so that's worth the risk IMO.
If you just want boring production, I'd say go with Brassard.

VGK stinks, I know they're 3-0, I know Neal has been scoring, but they stink and Neal really only does best with a playmaker directly beside him.
This was very obvious in Nashville when he was off RyJo's line. He won't sustain this.
Cody Eakin is vanilla and who knows what's going on with Ship.

Pom is old.
I have no faith in old in today's NHL - even with his hot start.
