Admittedly I haven't been able to watch the Hawks play yet, but what's the deal with this guys?

Just picked him off of waivers and put him on my farm, but might move him up to the main roster right away.

3GP(tonight is still in progress) and he has 2G, 1A with a +8. Really impressive start stat wise.

What pairing is he playing in Chicago?

27 years old with 32 points in the Czech league last year.

    Dobber's fantasy outlook says
"Offensively minded, Rutta should be able to put up points at the NHL level right away. Expect to see him get some opportunities on the power play early in the season. Plays like Brent Seabrook on offence, although less physical in his own end."

    With a B overall outlook.

Can he keep producing, if so what is his ceiling in Chicago? 30 points?

From what I've read over at HF boards from people watching the games, his offence is really nice but might not be the best defensively. He is seeing pp2 time though. I'd definitely keep an eye on him, give it some more games if you can. There numbers are a little inflated right now. But If he continues seeing second power play, he could get to 30/35 this year .

What's really interesting is that the Blackhawks traded their #2D Hjalmarsson to acquire Connor Murphy, and now they're giving Murphy 16-17 minutes per game while Rutta is playing 2-3 minutes more. But let's wait and see if this continues because if they start giving more minutes to Murphy, then that means less minutes to Rutta which will affect his offensive opportunities.

Rutta is seeing some PK minutes as well, so that shows some level of trust in him from the coach.

I wondering too. Someone grabbed Rutta in my league already. But Forsling is available and also has 3 pts in 3 games.

With Kieth and Seabrook taking up the most PP time, is there enough room for Forsling or Rutta to put up 30-35 pts this season? Neither will continue at this pace, but who is likelier to be decent?
