Dobber Discord channel?

What is a discord channel? I'm showing my age aren't I? (cough 29 years old cough). Is that like a chat feature?

Im 28 and i know it too! Well its kinda like irc. you can make your own "servers" and there can be multiple channels with different topics and yeah its like a live chat. There is also possibility for voicechat. Slack would do it also. I just saw livechat on leftwinglock and i started to wonder why there is none for dobber community.

I was just thinking that as well. Got a $250 draft today and it would have been nice to have a chat feature and possible a voicechat to get some instant opinions on an upcoming pick. Good call.

Discord is an app you can get and use for chatting and stuff. We are testing it for a network of fantasy leagues I'm a part of and so far we've gotten great feedback. You can see when people are online, easily add or remove people from rooms and more.

But to answer your question, I don't know!

Would be great for that part in the draft you want instant feedback. Guys can let others know they may nee help during a draft and can hang in the chat room and give feedback/advice. Would be awesome. I'd be in there all the time lol.

Haha, well im a Finn and i had no idea what "discord" meant before this. But yeah the app is awesome, its free and really easy to setup. Also the server is free and easy to setup too. I could make one and post a invitation link here if there is interest for that. The app actually works on browsers too.

Honestly, I think the community here is not so far into the social media rabbit hole but after looking into it, I think it may take off.
