Default Brad Marchand - still on the fence about the rankings...

I am still on the fence about his breakout last year and projections for this year. Don't know if its his reputation/past but I am having trouble seeing him as a 70/75pt player. I know his PIMS will help. But is he really a top 10-15 player? He's 29 yrs old now, is he that late of a bloomer?

Tell me, should I join the train?

He's always has had skill, you can see it when he plays for Team Canada. But it was his game-style that held him back i think. He changed it for TC, but went to his old ways with Boston. He focused more on skill this yr, and it paid off. But is he an 85pt guy? I dont think so, 68-73pts is where i have him. But as a LW in fantasy, he's still one of the top people available.

In a multicat league like yours, and especially with a weight on goals I think he is easily a top 5 maybe top three option at LW. And at least in Yahoo leagues this year I think LW is the shallowest position. In terms of where I would rank him, I think I would only have Benn, Patches and Ovie ahead of him for this coming year. If you are thinking about production in the next three to five years given his age I might keep guys like Ehlers, Forsberg, Panarin and Gaudreau over him, but if you are competing I think he is a top 4 LW for the next 2-3 years.
