I'd keep Keith. Neither guy is going to offer much for peripheral stats but Keith is still the better offensive player IMO.
My keeper forwards are set, but I have to let one of my D-men go. I'm looking to keep Hedman and Pietrangelo, but can only keep one of Keith or Schultz. Not sure how to proceed. Keith will probably continue to digress over time, but with Schultz...I'm having a hard time deciding if his performance last year will be something sustainable. Is he the real deal? Either player, I will probably end up trading before our draft to gain another pick. Our league has 14 teams, and we count HITS/BLOCKS in addition to normal Yahoo stats.
I'd keep Keith. Neither guy is going to offer much for peripheral stats but Keith is still the better offensive player IMO.

Keith - you know his downside and he could still get you 50 if things align well. Schultz worries me since he had his only good season when he just so happened to be playing for his very future. Plus, a healthy Letang would cannibalize Schultz's points.

Keith likely puts up high 40's with no peripherals. He is on the decline.
Schultz has the potential to put up 50, but not with a healthy Letang. I think Schultz ends the season somewhere in the high 30's. Even with Letang playing 65 games it will eat away at Schultz's value considerably. Plus Schultz has not yet proven he can replicate last season even if he is given the opportunity.
I prefer Keith.

I had a similar situation and kept Schultz. I'm just not a fan of Keith. Chicago on the whole is going down too.

I'd take Keith for this year. Schultz should play second fiddle to Letang. If you want to gamble that Letang gets injured again, then you can pump Schultz' tires but otherwise, you know what to expect with Keith.

Thanks guys for the insight. I was out of the playoffs by 1 spot. As long as my team stays healthy and solid, I should be contending for the trophy. I think I'll go with Keith and then go into the draft to cover my peripheral deficiencies. I forgot about Letang's injury woes last season, so that makes sense why Schultz would rise up. Since last season sucked, I do have a decent position in a non-snake draft.
I think Keith might regress, but I digress...
I'd keep Keith.
I'd go against the grain here and keep Schultz. I think you can get a better return on a declining Keith. There are a number of people that over value him, at this point of his career that may not last another season or two.
