Rick Nash NYR - LW,RW
Traded to Junky Blue Saab
I really enjoy checking the auction bids every Monday to see who put claims in on who. Seeing Sergachev go for $20 wasn?t shocking but Pengwin?s $22 claim on Jenner surprised me. I know he?s a Pengwin favourite though.
I?m starting my climb to the top now. Was at 32.5 points on Oct 16 and in second last place. 10 days later I?m up to 54.5 points and 9th place. At this rate, I should be in 1st by Christmas

Hated to move Bishop but hopefully the Jets tandem can keep up what they?ve been doing for me. If Talbot picks his play up, I should be in good shape. Especially since I?m already 10 games over pace.
Marner has been heating up and while I?m not a huge fan, it was the best offer I received and is a solid return on a goalie who has struggled at times early this season. He should help significantly in the tight offensive categories I?m battling in too
LOL. I love it because I still think of them (on my RHRS team) as a "tandem" too, even though its been all Hellebuyck - at least up until that last (finally!) Mason gem.
I'd been cursing you stealing my "Jets will be awesome" goalies - but this was the one league where I had bucked my own trend and drafted Anderson-10w(TOR)/Lundqvist-8w(NYR)/PHI-8w-duo based on good value.
I wonder if Mason turns the corner... I had so much faith in him this year. (Good mercy, Peng has had a lot of awful calls this year. I go by the "third person" when I've made some disastrous predictions.)

I'm content with the Junky Blue Saab (my team) hanging around at 5th at this point in season.
Lundqvist got off to an absolutely brutal start - I think I had just 13w in 34gp from goalies just last week... am not at 20w in 42gp.
I've got some duds on my team... Stepan, Wennberg, Little - I might just drop them all off at the woodshed soon.
Having six top 100 defensemen is good though (Hedman 48, Ghost 52, Muzzin 59, Weber 76, Letang 79, Subban 88).
My team is all over the pacing map.
+4 at C
0 at LW
-11 at RW (reason why I traded for Rick Nash)
+18 at D (reason why I traded away the NHL hits leader Adam Larsson. I'm actually pulling for ODB to rally out of 14th - he's a good GM, just unlucky/unfortunate draft)
+7 at G
That LonnyBohonos team is looking really fine.
Kucherov + Karlsson + Bob + Vasilevskiy + E.Kane... mmmm - yes, please!
Luckily he drafted Dougie Hamilton in the 4th or he'd be running away...
Sabrecats rostering every skater start they have to give. 74 skater games over pace!!! - hard to evaluate where that team would be on-pace.
Peng, your post reminded me that I haven't done my usual standings updates (with Dobber names) for all leagues yet. I need to do that soon.
Standings update (with Dobber names) - November 15, 2017 (thanks Pengwin for posting yesterday):
Thanks for the update. Funny how one goes from 4th place to 9th place within a few weeks. About a 1/4 of the season done? Still a long ways to go.....
I'm so glad that you chose to capture the standings after my big "-6" drop in the standings. Working on getting out of this cycle of doing the sluggish climb of the standings followed by a massive one-night drop-off. Watch out everyone...I might get it figured out prior to season end!
My team is making a non-standings run lately.... could be joining the "70s club" in a week or so.

Been sitting in last in goals all season and finally the boys (incl. DeBrincat!) are putting pucks in the back.
Goals: 146............ 114... 109, 106, 106, 104, 102... 98... 94, 92, 91, 89 (me)
Letang (-13) and Weber (-7) are not what I had hoped for in the +/- department.
My team's -21 is also a tad back of -19 & -18... need to fix that!!!
The Junky Blue Saab is gettin' a tune-up!
Whoda thunk my 2nd & 3rd top goal scorers would be a 18th round pick (Keller 11) and a waiver pickup (DeBrincat 10)!?!!

Pengwin7, thank you for the vote of confidence. I do plan to crawl my way out of last place.
My family discovered a small unknown artist doing a show out of town right before the draft and we took off to see him. GREAT SHOW!! BAD DRAFT!!!!!!
I should have just let Yahoo auto draft me. I ranked players in my draft que and it went horribly wrong. My first Goalie was Lehner in round 11 and Raanta in round 13. WOOF. The first 3 rounds were ok: Marchand, Schenn, Forsberg but I really needed to grab a goalie here but my rankings were way off and I missed all goalies.
My auto draft was so bad I drafted A. Markov with my last pick!
Anyways, I added some wingers to the trading block and sent out a few trade offers. I hope I can gain some respectability this season.
