Was last year the worst we can expect from Schneider. I hope so was pretty bad.

In no way did I try and say Helly put up good numbers. It was rough year for him. I just wondering if last year is how Schneider seasons will go from now on or it was just a one off of a bad year.

You could say the same thing for Hellebuyck too. The only difference between them, we KNOW Schneider is capable of putting up solid numbers.

to me it depends on when you going to compete, Schnider shoudl return to top 10 status this season, Hellybuyck does have talent be even top 5 imo but it wont be this year, probably not next and could never happen. and looking at your team, you are ready to go for it now so for your league i think its easy choice for Schnider.

Hellebuyck: Younger player. Still the best goalie out of Pavelec and Hutchison. Winnipeg takes too many (undisciplined) penalties and is playing shorthanded too much. Mason only signed for 2 years. Read that any goalie under Maurice actually had worse numbers because of the way the team plays. Winnipeg wants Hellebuyck to be the main guy. Dobber says Hellebuyck is a good goalie.
Schneider: Isn't the same player after getting injured late 2 seasons ago. Seems NJ defense isn't the same without Larsson. Had a feeling the coach was leaning towards Kincaid more. Maybe new goalie coach will help?
If don't need to win the next couple of years...take a chance on hellebuyck. Otherwise, get Schneider and trade him for someone better. Has good name value.
