Good to hear hopefully it spawns someone to start a league. 16+ people with a small prospect farm or N/A team would be great.

Aren't we all looking for one.. I joined one this summer and we had already 3 teams drop out after the first season. It would be nice if guys actually stayed committed.

Higher stakes is the way to go to ensure a better commitment and serious managers. To be more sure you could improve the structure with a 50% retainer fee in the case they back out they loose the retainer and it goes to the next managers buy in to take his team over.

I am in a few really well run H2H keeper leagues all in the same conglomerate that is NFHL. With enough interested managers, I am sure the Commish would start another.

$150 buy in 1st Place - $1650 2nd Place - $600 / 3rd Place - $150.

The one I mentioned is on the Yahoo platform. I have leagues in both but like yahoo a bit better as its much easier to use. If you'd be into the league mentioned I will see if he'd star another league.

If folks are interested in a high stakes H2H-Points league with no salary cap on Fantrax (with Leaguesafe) I'm happy to set it up and run it. Buy in would have to be at least 100 and we'd need at least 12 teams.

Yeah I'm more interested in the 16 team to be honest. I like the idea of starting our own and maybe reducing the retainer fee to half or a third of the actual buy in as the one I am in is a 100% retainer fee with your buy in. Again I do think they are important to ensure its longevity and serious GM base.

I'd be down with fantraxx too I guess the best way to do it would prolly be get 16 guys going and have a vote as to which platform to use. Im good either way just like Yahoo slightly better.

I would also suggest adopting the rules of the 16 team H2H league i'm in; except maybe expanding the farm team from 2 spots max to maybe 4 or five. They're pretty sound rules except the penalty system is pretty soft to prevent tanking and holding over the max NA skaters past a week. Also I would change the draft lottery to 8 teams and somehow correlate it with the NHL lottery to take away the drive to tank and add some more fun.

Would be nice to draft early, like in a couple weeks. I see roughly Seven that are interested and that didn't take too long. I guess the question is do we set it up ourselves or go with the NFHL conglomerate???

Then bam find 9 more and lets draft.

NFHL ruleset looks great to me. Not a huge fan of GWG (as it's completely random) or SHP (mostly random) but overall I'm fine with it. Roto is always more interesting than points only imo.

I also prefer yahoo to Fantrax but like both overall.

We have 28 man pro rosters with 12 man farm teams.

Initial dynasty buy in with NFHL requires a 100% retainer fee so with the 150 buy in I had to add another 150 which I think is a bit excessive, 50% makes good sense.

The commissioner just holds the funds: any owner who drops out or is removed looses their retainer fee, which would go to the replacement manager as incentive to join.
