Keep 5 advice update (rep)

Hey all, thanks for your input earlier.

I have a situation for team in signature where I could trade Subban for B. Schenn and find myself seriously considering it.

I don't love Subban's 1B role to Josi or his injuries and Schenn can be a beast in shallow LW with hits, PPP and some face off wins.

I figure with four 1st round picks and three early 2nd round pick can lock-up my goaltending and D pretty easily..

Thoughts?

I recently traded my fourth 2nd round pick (24th overall) for Simmonds so my five keepers are currently:

Eichel, Benn, Simmonds, Draisaitl and Subban

I don't think that's a bad idea if you feel you can get a decent replacement for Subban in the 1st. In that format you'd think that D was a little harder to come by though. You could probably get Schenn level players in the 1st as well. Maybe shop Subban+ around for a top tier Dman?

I expect Doughty, OEL, Pietrangelo, Trouba, Carlson etc. to all be available in the first round.

I have tried Subban + but was denied on Burns and Karlsson. Haven't heard back yet on Byfuglien.

Whether or not Schenn would be an improvement, I think you owe it to yourself to get more value for Subban. Say what you want about what Subban might do going forward, but he still finished strong last season and has lots of name value. Have you shopped him around to other GMs?
